Chobani’s Senior Director of Shopper Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of shopper marketing strategies that drive brand growth, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales across all retail channels. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Brand Activation, Insights, Commercial Growth and Commercial Operations to create impactful shopper experiences that align with brand objectives and shopper needs.
Responsibilities
- Management and oversight of Annual Shopper Marketing Budget
- Critically assess and evaluate all shopper marketing campaigns monthly and quarterly by customer for effective spend and measurable results (Profit, Sales, New Buyers, and Engagement/Reach)
- Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Media and Marketing Agency partners for profitable media buying and in store asset creation
- Continuous review and re-deployment of inefficient funding across campaigns into win/win consumer focused growth tactics
- Management of national IRC and DFSI process, playbook, and planning against AOP objectives
- Strong connectivity to Category, NPD, and marketing teams for informed decision making across key platforms to drive House Hold penetration and new buyers
- Linkage to Creative and Design team work for product and platform messaging for retail deployment
- Key Retail leadership across top 5 customers, for CPM negotiation and JBP productivity
- Develop and implement a comprehensive shopper marketing strategy that aligns with overall brand and business objectives
- Analyze and identify shopper insights and trends to proactively inform marketing strategies and tactics
- Responsible for leading, motivating, and inspiring a high performing team in the development and execution of insights-based, omnichannel marketing programs by providing strategic direction and guidance to the team
- Work closely with Sales and customers to develop joint business plans that drive category growth and enhance the shopper experience
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of shopper marketing initiatives and optimal performance, managing the budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI
- Engage innovative approaches and channels to meet the shoppers where they are on the customer journey
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all shopper marketing plans are integrated with brand campaigns, product launches and sales initiative and there is consistent messaging across all shopper touchpoints
- Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field
- 8+ years of CPG customer sales/marketing/agency experience required
- Strong Financial acumen and dissection of ROI deployment tactics
- Experience engaging/partnering directly with customers to develop and launch joint shopper solutions
- Retail media and shopper marketing tactics and measurement experience with excellent analytical and data-driven problem solving abilities
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful shopper marketing strategies that drive brand growth and sales
- Demonstrated understanding of account management, customer operations and category management principles
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team across various locations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The salary range for this full-time position is $178,500.00 - $331,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
