Role Summary

This role is an important member of the People & Culture team serving as a strategic HR partner to assigned Business Unit(s). You will support leaders in the achievement of strategic objectives by providing consultative support and delivering programs in all areas of HR including talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement. You will be a creative problem solver responsible for the development and delivery of people solutions aimed at creating and maintaining a positive and innovative workplace culture while ensuring HR practices and policies are in line with legal and organizational requirements. You recognize the need to be adaptable and work at both a strategic and operational level to support our growth and mission.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with leaders to understand business objectives and challenges and proactively identifies and employs HR actions to address them.
  • Drives various HR initiatives such as performance management, talent development, and other programs that will enhance employee engagement.
  • Supports workforce planning and organizational changes to ensure that short- and long-term needs are met.
  • Provides expert guidance to managers in setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance concerns/issues.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Identifies training needs and coordinates training and development programs. May also assist in program development.
  • Works with leaders to address and resolve employee relations issues, exercising good judgment and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Stays current with local, state, and federal employment laws and legislation and trends and maintains compliance with each.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Work Experience

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven Human Resource experience in HR business partnering or consulting roles working with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced high growth environment is strongly preferred.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a passion to create a positive work environment and employee experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and have prior experience working with HRMS software. ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
