We are looking for a passionate and experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to support Collective Health's recruiting team and play a key role in building Collective Health's world-class engineering, product, and technology teams. You will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to offer, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective strategies to attract top technical talent.
Contract Duration: June 17, 2025 to December 31, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, including:
- Sourcing candidates through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals).
- Screening resumes and conducting initial phone screens.
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews.
- Guiding candidates through the interview process.
- Facilitating debrief meetings with hiring managers.
- Extending and negotiating offers.
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Hiring Manager Partnership:
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their technical hiring needs, team dynamics, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing strategies and recruitment plans.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate pipeline.
- Advise hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and candidate assessment.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Act as a candidate advocate, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:
- Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong network of technical talent.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting.
- Develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Work closely with other recruiters and the broader People team to ensure a cohesive and efficient recruiting process.
- Contribute to the improvement of our recruiting processes and tools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of successfully placing software engineers, data scientists, or other technical roles.
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in the technology industry.
- In-house recruiting experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies (e.g., software engineering, data science, cloud computing).
- Excellent sourcing skills, with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse.
Pay Transparency Statement
This is a hybrid position based out of the San Francisco, CA office. Hybrid contractors are expected to be in the office two days per week.
The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, and experience.

$80-$85/hour
