More than a space provider, Codi becomes a company's growth partner, adapting their spaces to the team culture and growth needs.</p> <p> <strong>In the role</strong> </p> <p>You will enter a transformative tech company at the ground level and become an instrumental part of its growth. You'll join an A-level team of professionals from highly successful leading companies, such as Airbnb, Lyft, WeWork, Sonder, Postmates, and many more. You will report directly to the VP of Growth while building a pipeline of qualified leads that are looking for flexible office space.</p> <p>In your first three months you will…</p> <ul> <li>Understand the Codi offering, our different product lines, and the unique dynamics of each market. Demonstrate confidence and a solution-oriented mindset when speaking to leads about our flexible offices.</li> <li>Research from online sources companies and individuals that fit our ideal client profile and build lists for recurring outbound email and call campaigns.</li> <li>Manage inbound opportunities through our website and take initial calls to understand prospect requirements</li> <li>Schedule and lead in-person tours at our Codi Spaces</li> <li>Contribute to improving the sales pitch and materials with growth, marketing, and product teams</li> <li>Start closing deals</li> <li>Rapidly execute and iterate on sales experiments with an emphasis on user delight, impact, and learning.</li> </ul> <p>In your first 6 months you will…</p> <ul> <li>Manage outbound campaigns and bring prospects into our sales funnel for initial calls with the sales team</li> <li>Nurture closed/lost opportunities and reconnect with stakeholders when timing is propitious.</li> <li>Bolster Marketing in developing experiments like outbound campaigns and in-person events.</li> <li>Collaborate with Marketing to ensure listings maximize conversion rates with your prospects.</li> <li>Collaborate with Real-Estate to ensure our spaces meet prospects' expectations</li> <li>Manage a pipeline of active deals in coordination with the VP of Growth</li> <li>Ensure excellent CRM hygiene and note-taking for all conversations and deals</li> <li>Meet monthly performance targets and required daily KPIs</li> </ul> <p>In your first year you will…</p> <ul> <li>Represent Codi and close deals at happy hours, meetups, and networking events in partnership with the marketing team</li> <li>Share insights and expertise across whole team</li> <li>Take the right risks to meet our growth goals</li> <li>Your success will be measured by KPIs like: <ul> <li># of leads generated</li> <li># of leads qualified</li> <li>Net new MRR closed</li> <li>New new logos closed</li> <li>Tours held</li> <li>CRM Hygiene</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> <strong>Unfortunately…</strong> </p> <ul> <li>We will <em>not</em> be a good fit for you if: Politics and drama entertain you. You’re not especially creative or innovative.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Requirements</strong> </p> <p> <strong>You will thrive in this role if you</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Are located in NYC and willing to travel often into the city for in-person tours of Codi spaces</li> <li>Have 2+ years or more of sales development (or account executive) experience preferred</li> <li>Have real-estate experience preferred</li> <li>Are experienced with prospecting over phone, email, text, and in-person</li> <li>Are experienced setting up calls and video meetings with prospects, qualifying them, and creating next steps to drive the sales process forward. Experience closing deals is a plus</li> <li>Have demonstrable experience hitting and exceeding very challenging quotas</li> <li>Can run and grow multiple data-driven sales experiments at once</li> <li>Are a great communication skills and an ability to rapidly communicate through a variety of channels including, email, phone, in person, and text</li> <li>Are proficient with various technologies and sales enablement tools: Hubspot, Slack, Salesforce, Linkedin, Google Suite, Zoom,, and Google Hangout.</li> <li>Are collaborative and a team player</li> <li>Have comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment that is fully distributed</li> <li>Have a passion for the future of work, urban innovation, hospitality, real-estate, and/or marketplaces</li> <li>You thrive in ambiguity</li> <li>You are excited to dive into and solve complex challenges</li> <li>You execute better and faster than anyone</li> <li>You focus on impact and are driven by data</li> <li>Have an understanding of the Oxford Comma</li> <li>For you, life is an adventure.
