About the Role
We are looking for a Manager of Revenue Enablement Operations to join the Sales Enablement team at Cockroach Labs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and documenting seller workflows, tracking and measuring adoption and compliance, overseeing sales tech stack support and administration, and managing projects and programs related to sales enablement initiatives. You will also be managing the existing Revenue Enablement Operations team and will have the opportunity to scale your team as the greater org grows. For this role, you must be based in New York, San Francisco, or Austin.
You Will
- Collaborate with revenue operations, sales leadership and other cross organizational functions to refine and optimize the sales process and workflows. Develop systematic sequences of steps, tasks, and activities that all customer-facing revenue roles follow, from prospecting and lead generation to qualification, engagement, negotiation, and closing the sale.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation of seller workflows, ensuring that all team members have a standardized and consistent understanding of the sales process.
- Track and measure the adoption and compliance of the defined sales process and workflows. Analyze data and provide insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Own tech stack optimization, in collaboration with the existing team that will report into you. Your team will partner with revenue operations and IT teams to identify and implement tools and technologies that enhance sales productivity and effectiveness. Provide training, support, and administrative duties for all sales tools.
- Ensure effective coordination, resource management, and stakeholder engagement to achieve project and program goals related to sales enablement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation and adoption of sales process optimization projects.
The Expectations
In your first 30 days, you will complete our general and sales onboarding programs, learn about our message and product, and connect with revenue leadership team. We believe that it's essential for you to take this first month to become familiar with our technology and our company.
In your first 60 days, you will have evaluated our sales process and workflows and will partner with your team to drive the optimization of documentation, workflows, and the tech stack.
After 3 months, you'll be fully integrated into the team. You will have a strong grasp on our enablement efforts and will have several projects in process that will lead to increased productivity of the sales organization.
You Have
- 5-7+ years of sales enablement experience
- Proven experience in sales process optimization, sales operations, or revenue enablement roles.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and analyze data to drive improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales teams, sales leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This role will report to Lisa Contini, VP of Global Sales Enablement
With broad experience across various industries such as database technology, information systems, software, SAAS, cloud services, big data, and data security, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Vice President of Sales Enablement. As a Revenue Enablement Leader, Lisa embraces the use of sales performance data analytics to identify and target potential areas of improvement across all sales roles, predict declining performance and productivity, and implement targeted strategies and interventions to ensure continuous growth and success across the revenue organization.

The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $145,000 to $180,000 plus commission if a sales role. We set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies. In addition, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. Salary is one component of the Cockroach Labs’ total rewards package, which includes stock options, health insurance, life and disability insurance, funds towards professional development resources, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave, to name a few! Salaries for candidates outside the U.S. will vary based on local compensation structures.
