The reasonably estimated base salary for this role at Chronosphere is as shown above, plus variable compensation and a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. About the role

Chronosphere is looking for an entrepreneurial and strategic minded leader to join the growing Business Development organization! You will be responsible for supporting, managing and growing the BDR team. Additionally you will be a main contributor to the vision and direction of the BDR program.

We are looking for an individual to contribute to the best practices, resources, and culture as we grow and scale the BDR/Sales organizations. You will help build foundational documentation and resources that will train and empower future BDR/Sales hires for Chronosphere. We are looking for someone that can execute creative and unique strategies with your team!

You will

  • Hire/train a team of BDRs to successfully generate NBMs and Closed Won Revenue for the business

  • Improve BDR Team members performance and abilities by providing consistent coaching and feedback

  • Drive a value based, highly qualified process to drive efficiencies and acceleration in the sales cycle

  • Work closely with Marketing to maximize pipeline generated from events and conferences

  • Improve lead-opportunity management and processes

  • Work in collaboration with Sales, Product and Marketing leadership to continuously improve and iterate our GTM messaging and strategies

  • Contribute to the development of an efficient inbound lead scoring and distribution system

  • Support and enhance the account/territory management process

You Have

  • 3+ years of relevant SaaS experience

  • 2+ years of IC Sales/BDR Experience in selling SaaS

  • 1+ year of team building/management experience

  • Ability to empower your team and colleagues

  • A growth mentality with the instinct to be creative

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written skills

  • Experience in documentation, SFDC dashboard creation, and pipeline management

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, while maintaining a high sense of urgency

  • Organizational skills and a results-oriented, self-starter attitude

  • Mastery with demand gen tools

  • Experience at a technical SaaS company

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days, you will assess the team and processes. You will have introductory 1on1s with the team and leadership and set up a regular cadence. You will gain an understanding of the Chronosphere technology, market fit, personas and target companies to support the training of the BDR team.

Over time, your influence will shape the success and direction of the BDR/Outside Sales Organizations. You will work collaboratively with the entire Chronosphere organization to ensure that the BDR Team is enabled to provide industry leading customer experience and redefine how our customers view working with “Sales folks”!
