Job description
We are seeking an experienced Angular Architect to lead the design development and optimization of largescale enterprise grade web applications This role involves defining architectural standards guiding development teams and ensuring best practices in frontend engineering The Angular Architect will collaborate closely with product leaders backend architects UX designers and DevOps teams to deliver robust scalable and high performing applications
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership
- Define and maintain frontend architecture standards patterns and guidelines for Angular based applications
- Evaluate and recommend technologies frameworks and best practices to improve system performance and maintainability
- Design scalable and modular solutions supporting micro frontends or distributed architecture
Technical Expertise
- Lead complex Angular development initiatives and provide hands-on support during critical project phases
- Develop reusable components libraries and frameworks to accelerate development
- Ensure UIUX consistency responsive design accessibility and cross browser compatibility
- Collaboration Mentoring
- Work closely with backend architects to ensure seamless API integration and data flows
- Mentor and coach development teams on Angular TypeScript RxJS and advanced frontend concepts
- Review code to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines and quality standards
Performance Quality
- Optimize application performance bundle size change detection lazy loading and rendering efficiency
- Establish automated testing strategies unit integration and end-to-end
- Enable continuous integration and deployment pipelines for frontend assets
- Governance Documentation
- Maintain architecture diagrams technical specifications and design documents
- Drive code hygiene documentation quality and technical debt management
- Conduct technology evaluations PoCs and feasibility studies
Required Skills Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of total software development experience with at least 4 years in Angular 8
- Proven experience architecting and scaling large enterprise web applications
Strong expertise in
o Angular TypeScript RxJS NgRx or other state management libraries
o HTML5 CSS3 SCSS JavaScript ES6
o REST APIs GraphQL optional
o Webpack Angular CLI github - Experience with microfrontend architecture Module Federation preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure or AWS or GCP and DevOps processes
- Strong understanding of software design principles SOLID DRY KISS Clean Architecture
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$110,000 to 135,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
