Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Engagement Manager to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation programs, manage a portfolio of strategic client accounts, and drive delivery excellence across globally distributed teams. This role combines client leadership, delivery governance, and commercial ownership to ensure successful outcomes and long-term account growth.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise software implementations, eCommerce platforms, and multi-tower digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts, maintaining a strong book of business.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and act as their primary escalation point.
• Collaborate with cross-functional service lines to present integrated solutions and ensure a unified corporate offering.
• Lead all commercial activities including contract negotiation, rate discussions, budgeting, and profitability management.
• Own the creation and execution of Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, and project financials.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive upsell/cross-sell motions.
• Ensure delivery excellence across large, multi-workstream Salesforce and eCommerce programs.
• Stand up and manage globally distributed delivery teams, establishing governance, processes, and communication frameworks.
• Oversee delivery quality, risk management, and client satisfaction while ensuring profitability targets are met.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for C-suite stakeholders, steering committees, and executive governance forums.
• Communicate program progress, risks, and dependencies with clarity and senior-level influence.
• Lead RFP responses, solution proposals, and SOW development for new and existing clients.
• Partner with pre-sales, solution architects, and practice leaders to create compelling, competitive proposals.
• Contribute to practice maturity by improving delivery frameworks, methodologies, and operational excellence standards.
Required Qualifications
• 14–20 years of experience delivering large, enterprise-grade software implementation projects.
• 8–10 years of experience in eCommerce and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing multiple client accounts as a portfolio owner with end-to-end commercial accountability.
• Demonstrated success in revenue generation, P&L management, project financials, and contract negotiations.
• Strong background in leading globally distributed teams and setting up international delivery models.
• Executive-level communication skills, including presenting to steering committees and senior stakeholders.
• Extensive experience owning and delivering RFPs, SOWs, and strategic client proposals.
• Must be local to the New York area.
• Ability to understand and document business process flows; experience in creative solutioning for complex client challenges.
• Experience collaborating with teams across global time zones.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and backend platforms integrated with eCommerce or CRM solutions.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $116,100 - $250,640/yr
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
