Job Description

Salesforce Order Management Technical Architect (TA)

Technical Architects define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology. They go beyond designing Salesforce as an IT system to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by Salesforce. Technical Architects define services from a business perspective. They have deep business and industry expertise, are familiar with industry standards, and can work at the boardroom and senior management level.

Key Qualifications:

As a Technical Architect, you design and manage enterprise solutions. You demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen. You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in a major client organization. You lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence. You are seen as a role model in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Required Skills

  • Ability to elicit requirements from customers and map them into the technical capabilities of the Salesforce OMS platform.
  • Ability to easily communicate with customer stakeholders, including C-level executives. This includes the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise and written communication skills to create detailed and high-quality technical requirements, technical architecture, and design documentation for the development team.
  • Ability to think abstractly about technical architecture, and to quickly create accurate high-level and/or low-level estimates
  • Can provide technical leadership to the development team by coaching and mentoring team members
  • Expert-level knowledge of B2B and B2C eCommerce functionality and best practices
  • Uses industry experience to help manage project risk. Proactively identifies risk and is an active participant in mitigation discussions

Platform & Technical Skills

  • Salesforce Admin certification
  • Knowledge of Order Management Concepts
  • Extensive experience working with Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, APIs, and SOQL
  • Extensive experience working with standard web development technologies, including JavaScript & jQuery, REST, SOAP, responsive design, XML/XSD
  • Extensive experience developing in Visualforce, Apex, Lightning
  • Strongly prefer participation in multiple front-to-back Salesforce B2B implementations
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce OMS configuration, customization, and extension including fulfillment, shipping, payment capture, invoicing, and service by using integrated and customizable business processes and workflows
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce OMS data model and OOTB capabilities, including product types, pricing, accounts & contacts, order templates, cart & checkout, order history, and common integration points.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Mulesoft
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning B2B commerce
  • Familiarity with Order Management Concepts

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $101,300 - $230,790.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
