About the Job You’re Considering
Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced BDE to join our team and support our strategic partnership with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) supporting CSPs like Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile etc., while helping drive growth. The successful candidate will drive sales initiatives and efforts to develop business strategies, and foster strong client relationships to ensure the growth and success of CSP’s initiatives.
- You will be at the forefront of driving business growth by promoting Capgemini Engineering’s services to CSPs like Verizon, ATT and other CSPs.
- You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing sales strategies aligned with industry trends and client needs.
- You’ll act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders at the above CSPs.
- You’ll identify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis.
- You’ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- You’ll represent Capgemini Engineering in client meetings, presenting proposals and thought leadership.
- You’ll contribute to the company’s revenue goals by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Your Role
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the needs of CSPs like Verizon.
- Promote Capgemini Engineering’s R&D services through thought leadership and strategic engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at the key CSPs per above.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry shifts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline status, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10 years of business development and sales experience, preferably in telecommunications.
- Excellent communication skills and Power point/MS word skills to develop and position the sales collateral to customers.
- Experience working with or for a CSP (e.g., Verizon) is a strong advantage.
- Great CSP CXO connects is a huge plus!
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of mobile network operators and telecom technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MBA or related field).
- Direct experience with T-Mobile or similar telecom operators.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, OSS/BSS, Private Networks, GenAI, Fixed Wireless Access, AR/VR, Open RAN, Autonomous, Non-terrestrial Networks and enterprise telco solutions.
- Knowledge of AI platforms and Hyperscaler solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to engage and influence clients to generate leads and foster collaboration.Go getter attitude to sales process with relentless & passionate pursuit to win will be a tremendous asset for this role.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: ($101,000 - $202,000/yr)
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
