Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Foundry UI Architect with deep expertise in React.js, modern UI architecture, and hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry. The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of strong front-end engineering experience, including 1–2 years working with Palantir Foundry’s engineering ecosystem. This role requires the ability to architect secure, scalable UI solutions, integrate with Foundry Ontologies, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–15 years of front-end/UI engineering experience with at least 1–2 years in Palantir Foundry.
- Strong expertise with React.js, its core principles, and latest patterns.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+, DOM manipulation, and event models.
- Hands-on experience with OSDK, Ontology Manager, Code Repos & Code Workbooks in Palantir Foundry.
- Strong foundation in OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC, and modern authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with Redux/Flux or similar state management libraries.
- Knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and secure token handling.
- Proficiency with front‑end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and package managers like NPM/Yarn.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Strong experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong skills in performance tuning, optimization, and debugging.
Key Responsibilities :
UI Architecture & Development
- Architect and lead development of robust, scalable UI solutions using React.js.
- Utilize advanced Palantir Foundry capabilities including OSDK (Developer Console), Ontology Manager, Code Repositories, and Code Workbooks.
- Establish and enforce UI engineering best practices, including project structure, reusable component design, and performance optimization.
Security, AuthN/AuthZ & Compliance
- Define and enforce UI security standards, including secure linting rules such as eslint-plugin-react-security.
- Design and implement secure Authentication (AuthN) and Authorization (AuthZ) flows using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Implement secure patterns for managing permissions, data access, and secret handling within Foundry-integrated UIs.
Technical Design & Implementation
- Build responsive, high‑performance UI applications using deep knowledge of JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and modern React principles.
- Implement and maintain state management using Redux, Flux, or similar workflows.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and ensure reliable data flow between UI and backend systems.
- Work with modern front-end toolchains including Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with product owners, backend engineers, and Foundry teams to align on requirements and technical roadmap.
- Translate business needs into scalable, elegant technical solutions within the Foundry ecosystem.
- Provide architectural leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams.
Performance & Optimization
- Benchmark and enhance UI performance, ensuring smooth rendering and high responsiveness.
- Optimize build pipelines and front-end performance for large-scale enterprise applications.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: USD $11000- 135000 Per Year.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
