Lead end-to-end delivery of the Data Strategy Program, spanning data architecture, governance, cataloging, and analytics enablement initiatives.
Work with CIO, CDO, and functional data leaders to define and track program objectives, scope, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics.
Manage and orchestrate multiple workstreams including Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Platform Modernization, and Visualization/Reporting.
Establish program governance with clear cadence for steering committees, risk reviews, and executive updates.
Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure data solutions align with enterprise strategy and compliance standards.
Develop program-level dashboards and KPIs to track progress, risks, and ROI.
Drive stakeholder alignment across IT, business, and analytics functions to ensure delivery consistency.
Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are aligned to program goals.
Anticipate risks and issues, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8–12 years of program management experience, with at least 5 years leading Data or Analytics programs.
Strong understanding of data governance, data management, data catalog, lineage, and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, Collibra, Alation).
Proven track record in enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
Experience working with executive stakeholders in matrixed, fast-paced environments.
Excellent skills in budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification preferred.
Preferred AttributesStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
Experience with cloud data ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with privacy, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without authority.
Comfortable working in high-visibility programs involving CIO/CDO offices.

Job Description

The Project Management Officer (PMO) provides a range of support services to the Engagement Managers to govern our engagements, plan and track them, report progress, manage issues and risks, control change, manage deliverables and quality, track obligations, adhere to our contractual and commercial constraints, manage our finances and keep electronic records of what we produce and do.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is up to $160,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
