The Oracle DBA – SAP & Middleware will be responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle databases supporting SAP applications and middleware platforms. This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database administration, SAP Basis integration, and middleware technologies to ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems.

Your role:

· Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases for SAP and middleware environments.
Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations.

· Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.

· SAP & Middleware Support: Collaborate with SAP Basis team for database-related activities in SAP ECC/S4HANA environments.

· Support middleware platforms (WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar) with database connectivity and optimization.

· Implement and manage backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
Ensure disaster recovery and high availability solutions are in place.

· Apply database security best practices and manage user access.

· Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

· Diagnose and resolve database issues impacting SAP and middleware applications.

· Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance.

Your skills and experience:

· 10+ years of experience in Oracle DBA roles with exposure to SAP and middleware environments.

· Strong experience in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and performance tuning.

· Expertise in Oracle 12c/19c administration.

· Knowledge of SAP Basis and integration with Oracle DB.

· Familiarity with middleware platforms (WebLogic, WebSphere, TIBCO).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
