Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect

We are seeking a seasoned AEM CMS/DAM Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, with a strong focus on both Content Management (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM). This role requires deep technical expertise in AEM 6.x, Adobe Cloud Services, and enterprise architecture, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver digital marketing platform strategies using AEM Sites and AEM Assets (DAM).
• Develop AEM templates, components, workflows, and services.
• Architect and implement scalable AEM solutions, including SaaS-based AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Conduct discovery workshops to gather and consolidate business and technical requirements.
• Create and present technical solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Integrate AEM with CRM, e-commerce platforms, and other enterprise systems.
• Optimize performance and scalability across AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Create best practices, methodologies, templates, and white papers.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across onshore/offshore/nearshore models.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience with AEM CMS and AEM Assets/DAM as a Developer or Architect.
• Strong experience in Adobe CQ5/AEM 6.x, including end-to-end implementations.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, OSGi bundles, CRX, Apache Sling, and design patterns.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Struts and Spring.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: Bootstrap, JQuery, Angular, React.
• Experience with Maven builds, Jenkins, and Apache configuration.
• Strong understanding of Adobe’s security model and SSO integration.
• Knowledge of AEM components: MSM, Mobile, I18N, Tagging, Translation, Search.
• Experience migrating content from legacy systems to AEM.
• Familiarity with UML diagrams (Use Case, Class, Sequence, Activity, Deployment).

Preferred Qualifications
• AEM Site Developer and AEM Assets certifications.
• Experience with AEM Assets Share Commons for portal development.
• Understanding of Adobe Cloud Services and integration capabilities.
• Experience in pre-sales and sales cycles.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Experience writing unit tests within the AEM codebase.
