Capgemini is seeking a director-level executive to lead Sales Order Management & Transportation. As part of the Intelligent Supply Chain Operations (ISCO) practice, this role will shape the future of order management operations and drive best-in-class, technology-enabled processes, as well as integrate this function with its downstream transportation and logistics function
Your role
· Lead an ISCO engagement cross-functional, global projects managing scope, risk, results, and profitability.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients in the area of sales order management.
· Present confidently to client leadership and large audiences.
· Drive process improvement and transformation using digital tools and automation. Text
· Develop and market new services and solutions in the order management space.
· Implement effective recruitment strategies to build high-performing teams
· Strategically aligning people and resources to meet evolving market needs.
· Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to learning programs
· Represent delivery in client pursuits and demonstrate strong delivery leadership
Your skills and experience
· Own the end-to-end sales order management process and ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment reporting.
· Demonstrate ownership, collaboration, and curiosity in understanding order flows and business impact.
· Partner with client stakeholders to influence upstream and downstream processes.
· Develop and maintain controls and guidelines for order and delivery accuracy
· Understand the implications of underperformance on customer satisfaction and compliance.
· Mentor teams to shift from transactional service delivery to strategic supply chain ownership.
· Establish frameworks for client satisfaction and continuous improvement
· 15+ years of experience in supply chain operations, with a focus on sales order management and transformation.
· Proven leadership managing large, distributed teams.
· Expertise in order fulfillment analysis, supply chain reporting, and performance metrics, for primary and secondary SC operations
· Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influencing skills.
· Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP SD, Oracle SCM, Salesforce).
· Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and senior stakeholders.
· Ideally an industry expertise in Agribusiness and consumer goods
· Postgraduate degree (MBA in Supply Chain or Operations preferred).
· 8–10 years in senior supply chain roles, ideally in shared service environments.
· Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are a plus.
· Adaptability to work across teams and shifts.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $180k - $250k. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
