About the job you are considering:
The SAP Order to Cash Practice Lead is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of a large, specialized practice focused on SAP SD/ Order to Cash (OTC) solutions. This role requires deep expertise in SAP OTC processes, including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and payment processing, as well as the ability to lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of over 100 professionals.
Your role:
- Practice Leadership and Management- Lead and manage a global SAP Order to Cash practice with responsibility for staffing, resource allocation, and career development for a team of 100+ professionals. Set and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SAP OTC practice, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities. Oversee the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and methodologies for SAP OTC engagements.
- Drive all employee functions for the practice, including hiring selections, performance management, and retention strategies. Develop and manage training and certification programs to ensure team members maintain up-to-date expertise in SAP OTC modules and related technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the practice.
- Operational Excellence and Delivery- Ensure high-quality delivery of SAP OTC solutions, including troubleshooting, configuration, and implementation of SAP OTC modules. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, and customer service teams to optimize end-to-end OTC processes.
- Go-to-Market and Growth Partner with sales and business development teams to support go-to-market activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the SAP OTC practice and drive revenue growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on SAP OTC solutions.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and SAP innovations to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of OTC solutions. Champion the adoption of new tools, automation, and best practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Your skills and experience:
- Extensive SAP Professional Experience (15+ years) - Core area of expertise within SAP SD/OTC & proven track record in SAP consulting and implementation across various modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, S/4HANA).
- Experience managing full lifecycle SAP projects from planning to go-live
- Strong background in leading large-scale SAP projects.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams of SAP consultants, architects, and developers.
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
- Skilled in building long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Capable of translating business needs into SAP solutions
- Ability to align SAP practice goals with broader business objectives. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and driving revenue growth
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to explain complex SAP concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to anticipate market trends and shape the strategic direction of the SAP Capability.
- Proactively improving processes and identifying new business opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
- SAP Certifications in relevant modules or solutions (e.g., S/4HANA).
