Job Description:

Are you an experienced and driven Semiconductor & VLSI Recruiter ready to elevate your career? Join our passionate team and play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across a variety of engineering skillsets including, but not limited to, digital and analog design, verification, physical design, embedded systems, and semiconductor process engineering to support our diverse practice areas in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives across semiconductor and VLSI engineering domains.
  • Attract, source, screen, and interview candidates using various methods like online sourcing, networking, referrals, and direct outreach. Create an overall positive candidate experience while engaging with professionals in ASIC/SoC design, RTL coding, DFT, verification, layout, and fabrication process development.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions, particularly in high-demand and niche semiconductor and VLSI skillsets.
  • Source for niche skills and hard-to-find talent, leveraging strong overall sourcing skills, familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards/resume banks, and your personal network.
  • Entice passive job seekers by effectively communicating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and the impact of our work in advancing chip design, innovation, and next-generation electronics.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with industry-specific hiring standards. Leverage data and reporting tools to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and continuously improve performance.
  • Regularly analyze funnel metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, conversion rates) to optimize recruitment strategies and report on hiring performance to leadership.
  • Compose compelling and inclusive job descriptions to attract a diverse pool of candidates with backgrounds in semiconductor design, fabrication, and EDA toolchains.
  • Promote our employer brand by effectively communicating values, culture, and opportunities within the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate compensation packages, and facilitate onboarding, ensuring alignment with industry expectations and technical requirements.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction with recruitment processes across engineering and product teams. Influence hiring decisions through data-backed insights and market intelligence.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to understanding and meeting the needs of both candidates and hiring managers in a highly technical and fast-paced industry. Operate with a high sense of urgency, ownership, and responsiveness to meet critical hiring timelines.

Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience as a recruiter, with a strong focus on semiconductor, VLSI, or hardware engineering roles, preferably in a services or staffing setting.
  • Demonstrated experience achieving standard Talent Acquisition KPIs and meeting monthly or annual hiring goals.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools including LinkedIn and industry-specific platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building networks of highly skilled and sought-after semiconductor and VLSI talent, particularly those with expertise in tools and technologies such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, and SPICE.
  • Experience recruiting for roles in semiconductor design, fabrication, and testing environments, including foundries, fabless companies, and EDA tool providers.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret recruitment dashboards and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Comfortable presenting recruitment data and insights to leadership to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining attention to detail and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including those relevant to engineering and technology sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
