Role: CRM Architect

Location:Charlotte /NY

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade CRM solutions across platforms such as Salesforce (Sales/Service/Experience Cloud), Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Translate business goals into scalable CRM architectures that support customer 360, sales/service automation, partner management, and digital onboarding.
• Architect data models, integration layers, and user experience flows to enable seamless customer and employee journeys.
• Ensure CRM solutions are integrated with ERP, contact center, MarTech, portals, and analytics platforms.
Leadership & Governance
• Establish architectural governance for CRM programs, ensuring consistency, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Facilitate architecture review boards and own CRM reference architecture assets.
• Mentor solution architects and technical leads across multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Collaborate with client architecture, data, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and scalability.
Technology Strategy & Innovation
• Shape CRM transformation strategies including modernization of legacy platforms, cloud migration, and mobile-first CRM adoption.
• Evaluate CRM tools, accelerators, and AI/ML capabilities to drive automation, personalization, and productivity.
• Promote intelligent CRM features such as predictive scoring, next best action, intelligent routing, and conversational interfaces.
• Lead POCs, tool comparisons, and roadmap development to support digital and CRM strategy evolution
Program/Portfolio Engagement
• Serve as the lead CRM architect across large-scale transformation initiatives, overseeing multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with delivery leadership, product owners, and business stakeholders to shape implementation strategy and execution plans.
• Support presales, proposals, and RFP responses by designing high-level CRM solutions and delivery estimates.

Required Skills

Technical
• Expertise in CRM platforms such as Salesforce (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud), Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP CX, or Oracle CX.
• Strong knowledge of CRM configuration, data models, metadata design, workflow automation, and custom development.
• Experience with CRM integrations via APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps), and master data synchronization.
• Understanding of identity and access management, data privacy compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and role-based security.
• Experience integrating CRM with CPQ, knowledge bases, portals, and field service platforms.
Architecture & Methodology
• Hands-on experience leading enterprise CRM architecture in multi-cloud, hybrid, or SaaS-first environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices in CRM implementations (CI/CD, test automation, release governance).
• Experience delivering large CRM transformations in Agile or SAFe environments.
• Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and frameworks (TOGAF, etc).
Consulting & Leadership
• Strong client-facing and consultative skills, capable of engaging with business and IT executives to shape CRM vision.
• Experience mentoring teams and providing technical leadership across geographically distributed teams.
• Proven record in driving solutioning and delivery across industries such as Financial Services,
Good to Have
• Certifications in Salesforce (Application/Architect Tracks), Microsoft Dynamics 365, or equivalent CRM platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML add-ons in CRM (Einstein, Azure AI, Dynamics Copilot).
• Background in data strategy and customer 360 initiatives.
• Understanding of industry-specific CRM models (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, D365 & Power Apps)." DCX proactive

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $135549 to $176139 /yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
