Job Description:
As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will focus on interpreting schematics and specifications for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to develop and implement test procedures for analog (e.g., transistors) and digital components. You will translate performance requirements into automated or manual tests using LabVIEW and TestStand on PXI and VXI systems. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting test issues and coordinating with external vendors performing production testing. Additionally, you will develop specifications, inspection protocols, and documentation for electronic components used in nuclear power applications, collaborating with Sourcing, Quality, suppliers, and customer product teams to ensure compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain specifications, test protocols, and documentation for electronic components and systems.

Design and implement manual and automated test procedures using LabVIEW/TestStand to ensure product reliability.

Troubleshoot test issues and support technicians and vendors during testing and production.

Collaborate across teams to resolve technical issues and deliver timely support for manufacturing and in-service platforms.

Apply product development lifecycle knowledge and strong problem-solving skills to drive engineering and business outcomes.
Required Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in power electronics.

Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand, with hands-on experience in automated test systems.

Strong understanding of electronics design principles, including design for manufacturing (DFM), test methodologies, and power switching/control circuitry.

Skilled in troubleshooting analog and digital electronics using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills; experience in the nuclear industry is a plus.
