Your role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Test Lead with a strong background in the Telecom domain, specifically in Provisioning and Activation (OSS) layers. The ideal candidate will bring 8–10 years of diversified software QA experience, demonstrate leadership in managing testing teams, and possess hands-on expertise in test automation, test planning, and issue troubleshooting in complex system architectures.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts and testers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various test phases.
- Estimate test efforts, define test schedules, and manage test execution across multiple releases.
- Analyze complex technical issues and troubleshoot problems in a highly integrated telecom architecture.
- Perform hands-on testing of APIs using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and Swagger.
- Utilize TOSCA for test automation and ensure continuous improvement in automation coverage.
- Manage and track testing activities using Micro Focus ALM/Octane or similar test management tools.
- Ensure complete understanding and application of the Software Bug Life Cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and operations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Proven experience in the Telecom domain, particularly in OSS – Provisioning and Activation.
- Strong hands-on experience with TOSCA test automation.
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or Swagger.
- Expertise in using MF ALM/Octane or other test management tools.
- Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
