We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced solution architect to drive our Go to Market expansion and strategy into the rapidly growing Electric Vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing sector. As part of our ‘Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace’ engineering teams, you will work closely with our internal battery manufacturing authority’s solution architects and delivery teams to align our offerings with the unique needs of the EV battery market. Also effectively design, implement, optimize battery manufacturing processes, drive innovation, ensure high-quality production, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Your role

  • Develop innovative approaches for battery manufacturing, incorporating automation, robotics, and digital transformation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed.
  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation of manufacturing solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing manufacturing systems, optimizing performance and reducing downtime.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to align manufacturing solutions with business goals.
  • Collaborate with global sales teams to foster relationships with existing and prospective clients in the battery manufacturing industry,
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality in battery manufacturing.
  • Develop training programs for staff to ensure they are proficient in new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Ensure all manufacturing solutions align with industry regulations and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering. Chemistry or Material Science Degree Preferred. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 10+ years of experience working with sales and delivery teams, with hands-on experience in project management, system integration, and process optimization, successful project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of EV battery technologies, market trends, and industry players.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical information to both expert and non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications in solution architecture, project management, or relevant technologies.
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with a focus on client happiness.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Ability to work optimally in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
