Seeking a junior Consultant with an Engineering & Strategic mindset having prior experience in realizing Digital Engineering to lead the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry segments within Capgemini Invent’s Intelligent Industry practice. This pivotal role will be part of a team, that drives growth, profitability, and innovation, shaping the future of our A&D segment.

Digital Continuity Team

Capgemini’s Digital Continuity team partners with clients to improve their competitiveness and performance by transforming their Engineering and R&D capabilities. We connect the dots across the value chain—spanning sales and marketing, R&D, engineering, manufacturing, operations, and aftersales—to drive efficiency, enhance flexibility, and enable responsive, data-driven decision making.

Leveraging a value-driven approach, we deliver transformational solutions through digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific strategies. Our key offerings include, R&D Transformation, Digital Continuity Across the Organization, and Software-Driven Transformation.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D, for Manufacturing, Automotive or A&D
  • Strong understanding of the value driven by MBE, PLM, MBSE solutions/approach
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Passion to drive innovation in products and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements
  • Understanding of the PLM processes
  • Experience around model-based engineering, model-based enterprise, digital twins, digital thread areas
  • Team player and ability to deliver on engineering transformation projects
  • Ability to travel 50% on average including being onsite at client locations as needed
  • Support new business opportunities including preparing proposals, presentations, and pursuing contracts
  • Exposure to any of the following suite of digital engineering tools preferred: NX & Teamcenter, PTC Creo & Windchill, 3DX & Catia, MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, Capella
  • Good understanding of ERP, MOM, CRM systems and its relevance to the industrial digital threads
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $90,000 to $110,000. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
