Job Location - Westlake TX (Day One Onesite - Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data analysis and provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, DAX, and data models using Snowflake as the database.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI and Snowflake environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Exhibit strong SQL skills and experience with Power Query and data modeling.
  • Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Should have experience in building PowerBI reports on top of Snowflake
  • Should have good understanding on Snowflake and ability to write SQL queries for data extraction in an optimal manner
  • Should have experience in Python as a programming language and it's libraries
  • Should have the ability to read and understand existing python code and skilled to slightly tweak the code as needed for minor fixes / changes

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in integrating, ingesting data to data lakes, data warehouses, relational databases for analytical consumption
  • Strong experience in SQL
  • Hands-on experience in Python as a programming language
  • Built data pipelines using Python
  • Experience in one of the scheduling tools, preferable Control-M or Airflow
  • 6-9 years of experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently work as a developer in client environment
  • Worked with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage
  • Experience in Snowflake is plus
