Job Location - Westlake TX (Day One Onesite - Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Possess a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis and provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, DAX, and data models using Snowflake as the database.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI and Snowflake environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Exhibit strong SQL skills and experience with Power Query and data modeling.
- Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Should have experience in building PowerBI reports on top of Snowflake
- Should have good understanding on Snowflake and ability to write SQL queries for data extraction in an optimal manner
- Should have experience in Python as a programming language and it's libraries
- Should have the ability to read and understand existing python code and skilled to slightly tweak the code as needed for minor fixes / changes
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in integrating, ingesting data to data lakes, data warehouses, relational databases for analytical consumption
- Strong experience in SQL
- Hands-on experience in Python as a programming language
- Built data pipelines using Python
- Experience in one of the scheduling tools, preferable Control-M or Airflow
- 6-9 years of experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently work as a developer in client environment
- Worked with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Experience in Snowflake is plus
