Location: Burbank, California, United States of America

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Global Monetization and Studio Technology department. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to support the strategic goals of our distribution operations. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, technology, and sales, to optimize operational efficiencies and drive business growth in theatrical releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business operations, workflows, and systems related to theatrical distribution, identifying areas for improvement, efficiency, and automation.
• Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives related to film distribution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, technology, and sales, to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends, release strategies, and competitor activities to advise on potential growth opportunities.
• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to film distribution and box office performance to evaluate success and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Reporting & Presentations: Create detailed reports and presentations for senior management, providing recommendations based on data analysis.

Preferred Skills:
• Strong understanding of the theatrical distribution process, including film releases, box office analytics, and audience engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to improve business processes.
• Experience in the integration of distribution technology platforms (e.g., digital release systems, box office tracking tools).
• Ability to analyze consumer behavior and provide actionable insights to improve film release strategies and maximize profitability.
