About the Sr. Manager, FP&A role:

We are looking for a highly analytical Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending traditional financial planning and analysis with modern data-driven tools and automation. The Sr. Manager, FP&A will play a critical role in driving the quarterly budgeting processes, deepening business insights, and enhancing financial processes through advanced modeling and analytics. You will join a team that values innovation, analytical rigor, and continuous learning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and augment our forecast of revenue and contribution margin.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key performance drivers, highlight areas of risks & opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Design, build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
  • Leverage Python and/or SQL to automate reporting, streamline data pipelines, and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Continuously improve financial planning processes, tools, and data sources to enhance scalability, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis; able to integrate data from multiple systems into driver-based models.
  • Intermediate SQL required; Python proficiency for data analysis, automation, or forecasting preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for executives.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently, structure ambiguous problems, and influence cross functional stakeholders.
  • A passion for problem-solving, continuous improvement, and innovation in financial processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in STEM field plus MBA preferred.
  • Experience with data tools such as Alteryx and Power BI a plus.
  • Prior experience at Big 4 or similar as part of strategy & operations, Transaction Services or Valuations Services practices.
