Job Summary
Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Analyst, M&A & Strategy to support the North American Growth Strategy & Corporate Development team. This high-impact role will help drive execution of the 2028 Strategic Plan by identifying market opportunities, supporting M&A initiatives, and partnering with business leaders to accelerate growth across key sectors — including building & infrastructure, energy & renewables, and cybersecurity.
As part of our aggressive North American expansion strategy, this role will contribute directly to the development and execution of both organic and inorganic growth initiatives. The position offers significant exposure to executive leadership and hands-on involvement in strategic decision-making that shapes the region’s future.
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Houston, TX three days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate business portfolio frameworks, strategic initiatives, and financial performance metrics to support long-term growth objectives.

Partner with business unit leadership to define, refine, and execute growth strategies, including new market entry, capability expansion, and operational optimization.

Support the planning, execution, and performance tracking of the 2028 North American Strategic Plan.

Lead and support special strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.

Conduct in-depth industry and competitive research to identify organic growth opportunities and expansion into adjacent markets.

Develop advanced financial models and valuation analyses to assess acquisition targets and strategic investments.

Support end-to-end M&A processes, including target screening, due diligence coordination, financial analysis, and integration planning.

Prepare business cases, investment memoranda, and executive-level presentations for review by senior leadership.

Collaborate closely with North American leadership — including CEO, CFO, General Counsel, Tax, and operational teams — to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Support development and management of the M&A pipeline, including engagement with potential acquisition targets.

Perform additional strategic and analytical responsibilities as business priorities evolve.

Education, Certifications, and Experience (Required):

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, audit/Transaction Services, or related analytical roles.

Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.

Exposure to M&A transactions and due diligence processes preferred.
- Exposure to private equity transactions, investment committee materials, or sponsor-driven due diligence processes preferred.
Skills:

Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.

Strong analytical research capabilities.

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
