Sustainability Technical Manager

The Technical Manager is responsible for all technical products delivered to customers within an assigned customer portfolio and all LCA datasets assigned to the individual. This Individual will work closely with LCA analysts, Sustainability Consultants, the Data Solution Architect and the Data Engineering Team to ensure best practice is implemented in all analytical and data solutions developed within their portfolio.
Essential Duties:
- Manages a portfolio of client engagements, acting in PM role to assign tasks, manage project budget and timelines
- Executes LCA modeling and deliverables as an individual contributor
- Coordinating with Data Solution Architect to develop data pipeline requirements
- Final QAQC and sign off on technical work (LCA modeling, PBI reports) across all projects
- Ensures all LCA analysts are conforming to internal processes and standards for modelling and documentation (quality control)
- Main problem solver with analysts relating to all technical work
- Final reviewer and signoff on methodology documentation and analytical deliverables
- Trains and onboards new life cycle analysts
Skills & Education
- Strong Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) background
- Experience with ETL data processing tools and coding.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of the AITrack modelling environment
- Project management experience within a technical environment
- Master’s or PhD in industrial ecology or a similar engineering or other sustainability-related degree with a heavy focus on life cycle assessment methods. 3 years of experience managing LCA based client engagements.
