Engineering Associate Project Manager – Bradley Construction Management

The Engineering Associate Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the ownership of engineering review services provided during the full project lifecycle from early-stage development to final completion. This includes Bradley’s internal project budgets and schedules, as well as in-scope technical document review and associated service deliverables, in conjunction with any other in-scope review services provided for owners. This individual has related experience and a general understanding of renewable energy project design, development, management, and construction in one or more generation facility types – solar, wind, or battery energy storage. Job responsibilities include:

  • Maintains thorough understanding of the contracts and project deliverables.
  • Monitors project specifics and ensures that project teams (both internal and external) are prepared to provide scope of services agreed upon with the client to a high degree of quality.
  • Identifies out of scope requests and provides out of scope notifications to internal and external stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Manages incoming client requests to ensure timely addressing of client concerns and effective management of services rendered, including staying up to date with both internal and external (subcontractor) tasks.
  • Maintains conformity of project deliverables and services rendered to requirements (e.g. customer standards or specifications).
  • Attends project meetings, as needed.
  • Assists with providing weekly project status updates for high-level internal stakeholders to help them constantly understand the efficacy of services being delivered to clients.
  • Assists in bidding projects and refining pricing models to help fine-tune pricing assumptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years experience desired with renewable energy projects from an engineering or project management standpoint, working on large projects consisting of numerous phases; including managing some level of technical and commercial aspects.
  • A basic understanding of the overall network of entities involved with renewable energy projects and what some of those other entities are as well.
  • Proven ability in identifying and resolving complex issues through good communication and active listening.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, project management, construction management, and file management software (e.g. Procore, Construction Cloud, SharePoint, Box, etc.).
