POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Support Project Managers with all project accounting responsibilities which will help them to provide

high quality, timely and profitable technical services. Provide applicable reporting to Project Managers, Business Unit Managers and Financial Controller.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review accepted proposal/contract to ensure that client has agreed to our terms and conditions.

· Secure pricing from proposal or Project Manager’s budget to properly set up project in the accounting system.

· Run and review unbilled reports/draft invoices on a weekly basis correcting errors as needed.

· Complete invoicing, collect and present necessary backup, and ensure that invoice meets

· Client’s specifications, as established with the Project Manager at the inception of the project.

· Meet with Project Managers as needed to resolve any issues delaying the billing process.

· Assist in the invoice Collections effort and provide status to management.

· Maintain billing file to include signed proposal/contract, all invoices generated with copies of

supporting technical reports.

· Review all sub-contractors invoices with Project Managers. Ensure that we have Sub-

· Contractor’s agreements and that we receive a Certificate of Insurance from sub-contractors performing labor on a project.

· Assist in the annual audit process.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

· Position requires an Associate’s Degree in accounting or related discipline

· Minimum 2 years relevant experience or 5 years relevant working knowledge.

· General knowledge of accounting and business principles with excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Proficiency in Excel and Word are required

· AE Services Billing experience a plus.

· JD Edwards knowledge a plus.

· California Prevailing Wages understanding a plus

· Time and Material billing a plus
