External Job Description and Profile Required.
Duties include, but are not limited, to: 1) Processes permit applications for commerical, residential, miscellaneous, signs, temporary use projects for cities and counties througout California 2) Provides fee information and project numbers for fee collections to the cities and counties we serve 3) Reviews, reads and understands construction plans 4) Inputs data into BV's computer software for logging and tracking purposes 5) Works closely with the plans examiners in the office to ensure timely project review 6) Maintain timesheets, routing & logging for multiple employees 7) Shipping and receiving projects to and from cities and counties 8) Maintain a professional and cordial relationship with the cities and counties employees' 9) Strong Microsoft Office Skills, specifically excel 10) Maintain accurate and precise records for all projects 11) Meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks well 12) Proficient in office machines (Scanner, Copier, Fax, multi-line phone system, etc.) 13) Proficient math skills to calculate fees and manage invoicing 14) Ability to organize, prioritize, and carry out office work with minimal supervision
