Welding Inspector

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform welding inspections according to project requirements and BV procedures.
• Review and validate WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification Records (WQRs).
• Carry out visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Ensure welding processes comply with ASME, AWS, API, or EN standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs, and other QA/QC documentation.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Attend site visits, kick-off meetings, and technical discussions when required.
• Follow up on welding progress and report deviations or concerns.
• Perform material receiving inspections to verify compliance with specifications, certificates, and traceability requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably with third-party or inspection bodies.
• Strong understanding of international welding standards and codes (ASME, AWS, EN, API).
• Proficiency in technical reporting and use of Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
