Job Title and Purpose

The Safety Fire Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards and maintaining the functionality of fire safety systems. The role includes training personnel, inspecting fire and access control systems, and supporting certification processes in accordance with ISO and internal standards. Expertise with AUGPT (Gas Fire Suppression Systems), ACS (Access Control Systems), and Fire Alarm Systems is required. Experience with Honeywell and Hikvision systems is considered an asset.

Job Location

  • Will be based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Responsibilities

Safety Training & Instruction

  • Develop training methodologies and materials on occupational safety.
  • Conduct safety briefings for all staff, including third-party (outsourced) personnel, before commencement of work.
  • Provide regular training sessions on occupational safety and fire protection regulations.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain safety logs and documentation in accordance with established legal and corporate requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety policies during operational activities.

System Maintenance & Checks

  • Inspect and test the operability of:
  • Gas fire suppression systems (AUGPT)
  • Access control systems (ACS)
  • Fire alarm and detection systems
  • Identify faults or deficiencies and take prompt corrective action.

Audit & Certification Support

  • Prepare building systems and personnel for safety audits and ISO 9001 certification processes.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols on-site.
  • Promptly report any identified issues or non-compliance to the Project Manager and the Client.
  • Initiate and implement measures for rectifying identified safety or technical deficiencies.

Requirements to be a successful candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Fire Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Gas-based fire suppression systems (AUGPT)
  • Access Control Systems (ACS/СКУД)
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Familiarity with Honeywell and Hikvision systems (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, including ISO 9001 requirements
