Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire an Architect based in Erbil for an on-site position.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architectural engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural engineering, preferably on construction sites or large-scale projects.
- Fluency in Kurdish and English
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and other design tools.
- Solid knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and engineering standards.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- The Architect will ensure that appropriate Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes are established and maintained.
- The architect will be fully responsible for the finishing work and will work closely with the mechanical and electrical crews to install utilities.
- The Architect will be responsible for coordinating all submissions and drawings from subcontractors and other to event LPC.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or issues during the construction phase.
- Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and timelines for architectural elements.
