SUMMARY: Hands-on experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The internship will assist in developing technical knowledge of service and procedures; communication skills in a professional setting; project management skills; and an understanding of quality assurance processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.

Core Duties:

  • Assist with develop marketing collateral, including brochures, social media graphics, and presentations, using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) utilizing knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Design and update HTML emails using templates to support marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the creation of reports and dashboards to track marketing performance.
  • Support social media efforts by scheduling content and monitoring engagement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Maintain an organized SharePoint site for accurate storage of marketing collateral.
  • Provide support for tradeshows and events as needed.
  • Interfaces with staff at all levels of the organization as well as clients and partners.
  • Assist the marketing team with other projects as needed.
  • Assist our technical teams with providing professional technical services.
  • Participate in project meetings and team discussions.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must currently be enrolled in a college or university program related to Marketing or Communications.

Language Ability: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, peers, and technical field staff.

Technology Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in operating a computer, having knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and project management software.
