Position: Field Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the inspection manager in the implementation of inspection plans.
- Conduct and support in investigating failure investigations.
- Prepare an inspection plan and carry out equipment inspection.
- Coordinates for NDE services.
- Assigns/coordinates the preparation of appropriate procedures, work instructions, and work packs.
- Prepare and review inspection reports and data, including analysis using inspection data management software.
- Coordinates entry of inspection data to RBI software.
- Data management.
- Follow up on rectification and repair jobs.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer.
- API 510, API 570, and API 653 certifications.
- Knowledge of different NDTs (UT/MT/PT) and relevant inspection tools, including ASNT level-2 certification.
- Knowledge of API 571 and corrosion damage mechanisms.
- Knowledge or certification of welding inspections and coating inspections.
Experience:
- 10 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years with inspection of pressure systems in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in Welding inspections, Coating inspections, Root Cause Failure Analysis, etc.
Notes:
- The candidate's final interview would be conducted by the client.
- Overtime/TADA will be applicable as per policy and approval of the client.
- Filed Engineer rotation will be 21 days off and 21 days onsite. No annual or casual leaves will be accepted for field engineers.
- Field Engineer job days are from Monday to Friday, and sitting would be in the Karachi Bureau Office or at the UEPL head office.
