Engineering Supervisor (Mobile)

Equans is looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our team on the Wheatley Contract based from Bellshill covering the surrounding area on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £44,412.57 per annum and in addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Apply multi-skilled expertise across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise team members effectively, including managing specialist sub-contractors safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, review, and enforce all task-related Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH documentation to ensure safe working conditions.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to engineers and team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Utilize CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems to manage and monitor Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair workflows.
- Maintain all compliance records and certifications in accordance with legislative standards, ensuring audit readiness.
- Oversee job preparation for timely and accurate invoicing, managing Work in Progress (WIP) effectively.
- Deliver excellent customer service, acting as an EQUANS representative and the primary client contact to uphold customer satisfaction and meet KPIs as outlined in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contracts.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, prioritizing tasks to meet agreed deadlines and timescales.
- Implement contingency plans and take appropriate, proactive actions in response to operational challenges.
- Encourage continuous self-development and promote the growth and performance improvement of the entire team by recognizing individual strengths and development opportunities.
- Adhere strictly to industry health and safety standards in all activities.
- Undertake additional duties beyond the outlined scope as needed to support operational success.
- Ensure all work is carried out cost-effectively and efficiently to maximize revenue while maintaining service quality.

Who are we looking for?
- Recognised industry qualification or equivalent relevant experience is essential.
- Ideally IOSH qualified.
- Asbestos awareness certification.
- First aid trained (preferable but not essential).
- Computer literate with good proficiency.
- Effective communicator with internal services, clients, service partners, and suppliers.
- Able to diplomatically manage relationships with demanding client personnel.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Maintains a clean and smart professional appearance at all times.
- Physically fit to meet role demands.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Competent in managing a team of mobile engineers across a large and diverse client portfolio.
- Skilled in maintenance and repair of Mechanical & Electrical systems.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
- Basic knowledge of building fabric repairs.
- Experience in installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Due to the nature of the role, post holder will be required to obtain and maintain Disclosure Scotland to Basic Level.
