PAM & PIM Analyst (F/M)

Summary of the role

As a PAM & PIM Analyst, you’ll be a key player in managing and securing over 5,000 privileged accounts and 500+ sensitive identities across a global infrastructure. Your mission is to ensure privileged access is tightly controlled, fully compliant, and continuously optimized.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with access data, supporting audits, and improving security processes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Manage PAM and PIM systems: Oversee daily operations and lifecycle management.​
  • Ensure security and compliance: Align privileged accounts with policies and regulations.​
  • Administer tools: Maintain PAM and PIM technologies for secure access control.​
  • Support audits and compliance: Ensure access rights follow the principle of least privilege.​
  • Collaborate with security teams: Improve privileged access processes and address vulnerabilities.​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lifecycle Management: User provisioning, role management, access certifications, entitlement reviews.​
  • Automation Support: Improve IGA processes like user lifecycle management and policy enforcement.​
  • Collaboration: Align IGA solutions with business, security, and compliance needs.​
  • Troubleshoot issues: Resolve user access, workflow, and integration problems.​
  • Design and implement RBAC and SoD policies: Ensure compliance with security regulations.​
  • Integrate IGA tools: Automate access management with other enterprise systems.​
  • Ensure performance and stability: Regular testing, upgrades, and optimizations.​
  • Monitor system performance: Recommend improvements for efficiency, scalability, and security.​
  • Documentation: Maintain clarity for configurations, workflows, and integrations.​
  • Training and support: Share best practices for IGA processes and tools.​
  • Audits and compliance: Ensure IGA solutions meet regulatory requirements.

PROFILE

Academic background & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) tools and solutions.​
  • Experience in auditing and maintaining compliance for privileged accounts and access within regulated environments.​
  • Hands-on experience with PAM solutions such as CyberArk.​
  • Experience with access control policies and practices for privileged accounts.​

Skills

  • Experience with PAM and PIM solutions, such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Thycotic, with a strong understanding of privileged account management processes.​
  • Knowledge of privileged access security principles, including the least privilege model and role-based access control (RBAC).​
  • Familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure vaulting techniques for privileged accounts and identities.​
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, as well as knowledge of network protocols and security practices for protecting privileged access.​
  • Experience with auditing and compliance requirements related to PAM and PIM, such as SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and GDPR.​
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.​
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automating administrative tasks.​
  • Ability to maintain a detailed understanding of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, applications, and network devices, to ensure proper privileged access management.​
