Summary
Under the manager's supervision, the Technical Facility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating subcontractor and external contractor work and performing manual tasks related to the maintenance, upkeep, and operation of the building.
Description
- Coordinate and supervise various corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety measures;
- Manage inventory of parts, order parts, and follow up with external contractors;
- Ensure coordination and performance of subcontractors and external contractors;
- Prepare reports required by the client;
- Execute and close corrective, preventive, and other work orders;
- Handle urgent issues and coordinate interventions;
- Respond to emergency calls and plan resources accordingly;
- Perform general building maintenance tasks such as drywall repairs, floor covering repairs painting, relamping, door and hardware repairs, minor plumbing work, etc;
- Participate, as needed, in snow removal of outdoor equipment;
- Carry out various installation, modification, or repair tasks for office furniture;
- Act as the first responder during emergency measures.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada;
- Able to pass a security clearance at the required level;
- Two (2) years of experience in managing small or large-scale contracts;
- Two (2) years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System);
- Two (2) years of project management experience;
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook;
- Ability to work standing, bending, and/or kneeling as required;
- Able to climb ladders of 3, 6, or 12 feet.
