Environmental Manager

In this challenging role you will lead and manage the Environment and Sustainability Team for Bouygues UK. The role will involve you in managing the Environmental and Energy Management Systems and ensure compliance across all projects. Your responsibilities will include the management and reporting of carbon for the business. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to make key decisions to influence design and build processes to ensure they meet sustainability standards. Our diverse and dynamic team plays a pivotal role in the Business key objectives on its road to Net Zero.
Your skills profile should include:
- Substantial experience in a Sustainability/ Environmental role, at manager level
- Extensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry
- Working knowledge of building regulations, the design and build process, in particular in relation to sustainability issues
- Thorough knowledge of ISO14001 & ISO50001
- Proficiency in LCA software (e.g., Oneclick LCA)
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with carbon reporting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
Experience in the following would also be of interest to us:
- BREEAM Assessor accreditation
- Working knowledge of other sustainability certification systems
- Knowledge of EU Regulations i.e. CSRD and EU Taxonomy
