Job Summary:

The IT/IS Manager will be responsible to develop, implement, and manage Information Technology solutions and processes that support the efficient delivery of daily activities and services in Canada and the USA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General IT/IS Services:

  • Manage IT infrastructure, including physical devices on site and M365 tenant.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, client JV partners, IT departments, supply chain, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company and projects requirements for sensitive data management, including ISO 27001, personal data protection rules, and other relevant standards.
  • Provide cybersecurity support and manage cyber security on the offices and projects
  • Lead the implementation of corporate systems onto the offices and projects
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding processes, including HR systems, payroll, and timesheet management.
  • Implement and manage the Data platforms needed (Data Management architecture in close relationship with the Digital Managers).
  • Support Digital teams in relevant digital initiatives on the offices and projects

Service Deployment and Evolution:

  • Deploy, manage, and track digital assets following group standards, ensuring smooth IT service delivery for new sites, including implementation, configuration, and testing.
  • Prioritize group standard services over local solutions whenever possible, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
  • Monitor contracts with local solution providers in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Implement and maintain security solutions with the Cybersecurity team.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of local infrastructure

Service Use and Promotion:

  • Manage user relations, including deployments, invoicing, fleet management, and local application usage.
  • Coordinate with Digital and International Operations for guidance on unclear standard services and provide feedback for future improvements.
  • Deliver user training on devices, core applications, and cybersecurity fundamentals to promote best practices and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Spread group communications, including updates on cybersecurity practices and standards digital services.
  • Collect and share feedback on user satisfaction and service quality with service owners.

Support and run:

  • Raise alerts, resolve incidents, and handle service requests requiring local intervention, while participating in the local incident response plan in coordination with regional or central teams.
  • Implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies, regularly review derogations and action plans in collaboration with central teams.
  • Manage audit recommendations and oversee the remediation plan within the local area
  • Perform equipment updates and follow up with local application owners to maintain data accuracy in the central repository.
  • Share security updates, incidents, and risks with relevant stakeholders and relay operational information as needed.

Service Integration:

  • Collect local IT & Digital services requirements and manage digital projects, ensuring alignment with group standards.
  • Promote and support company standard services by staying informed, attending information sessions, and understanding the service catalogue.
  • Identify and escalate deviations or constraints that may affect established frameworks and collaborate with central teams to design solutions.
  • Flag and support new construction projects by sharing requirements with digital teams and international operations for Digital Review/kick-off.
  • Assess third-party vendor security posture in collaboration with the Entity CISO.

Skills & Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Windows OS, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Tenant Administration and Cisco Meraki systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential due to interactions with local, regional and central IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities.
  • Experience as a business analyst or clear demonstration of ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Ready to travel regularly to the construction sites in the United States and Canada
  • Previous experience in Multi-national Company and/or complex organisation (e.g. Joint Venture enterprise) is a plus
