Bouygues Energies & Services (part of Equans) has a fantastic opportunity available for a Project Buyer to join us in our Bristol office.
This will be a 6-month fixed term contract to cover maternity.
The role offers a unique opportunity for a Procurement professional to work on the Hinkley Point C project, one of the most exciting projects out there! This is the perfect position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing large volumes of indirect procurement.
Job Purpose:
To support and manage procurement activities for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) project, including RFP preparation, tender assessments, supplier engagement, and subcontract negotiations.
The Role:
- Responsible for Tactical/Indirect Procurement
- Procurement strategy and planning - support the overall Procurement Strategy and Schedule alongside the Project Procurement Manager.
- Supplier and contract management.
- Financial and commercial coordination.
- Assist on-site and Care and Maintenance colleagues with their procurement activities.
