Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

We're hiring: HSW Coordinator – Join us in powering the UK's low-carbon future

As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we’re proud to be supporting the build of Sizewell C—a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will generate enough low-carbon electricity for around six million homes. This once-in-a-generation infrastructure project will supply clean, reliable power for at least 60 years and help shape the UK’s energy future.

Right now, I’m looking for a dedicated and organised HSW Coordinator (Marine) to join our team.

In this role, you’ll support the Health & Safety Manager in the smooth running of all health, safety, wellbeing (HSW), and environmental administrative processes across the project. You’ll work closely with both site and office teams, playing a key part in the development of our Health & Safety Management System, and making sure documentation, reporting, and communications are accurate, timely, and effective.

This is a hybrid role, with time expected on sites such as Avonmouth, Lowestoft, or Orwell, depending on project needs—so flexibility and a proactive mindset are key.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the development and formatting of HSW procedures and documentation

  • Helping to coordinate campaigns, meetings, and site visits relating to health, safety and environment

  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents, investigations, and actions

  • Gathering data for monthly reports and dashboards

  • Raising requisitions and helping manage HSW-related procurement

  • Supporting toolbox talks, training coordination, and health surveillance activities

  • Working with stakeholders to share key communications and lessons learned

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

  • A genuine interest in health, safety and wellbeing in large-scale construction

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team

It’s a bonus if you’ve previously worked in construction or an HSW-focused role and have a full UK driving licence, but this isn’t essential.

This is an opportunity to support one of the most critical infrastructure projects in the UK, contributing directly to the safe and efficient delivery of Sizewell C.
