Join BILL’s Developer Ecosystem and Partner Platform team, where you’ll help shape how partners and developers build on and extend BILL’s platform. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving execution across core platform capabilities that enable direct developers, app developers, and embedded partners to integrate, build, and scale with confidence. This is a highly technical, cross-functional role focused on delivering reliable APIs, intuitive integration experiences, and a strong end-to-end developer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, partner-facing teams, and other BILL feature teams to ensure the platform supports real-world use cases and downstream product needs. Your work will have tangible impact at scale, powering partner growth and extensibility across BILL’s ecosystem.
What you’ll do
- Drive execution across key areas of the Developer Platform, delivering platform capabilities that enable partners and developers to build and integrate efficiently.
- Define and deliver roadmap initiatives that support a growing ecosystem of direct developers, app developers, and embedded partners.
- Partner closely with engineering and other BILL feature teams to ship high-quality platform features that are easy to adopt and scale.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from developers, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform prioritization and iteration.
- Translate technical concepts into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Improve the end-to-end developer experience, including APIs, integration workflows, documentation, and onboarding, in close collaboration with tech writers.
- Use data and feedback to measure success and continuously improve the platform experience.

- Strong technical fluency and comfort working closely with engineers.
- A customer- and partner-centric mindset, with a passion for building platforms that enable others to succeed.
- Clear communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.
- A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
