Our Global Supply Chain Summer Interns are given the opportunity for hands-on experience within the Spirits industry. The Operational Excellence Intern will have the opportunity to work with the global operational excellence team to analyze current capability and training gaps in the different Operating Units from SGS and design enhanced materials to ensure efficiency and accelerate our people’s development.
Role Responsibilities
• Supporting Operational Excellence team to monitor site routine/ways of working implementation across multiple sites in KY (30%).
• Assist in designing training spaces and materials (Global Standards) to enhance Gemba capaility and achieve a world-class organization (50%).
• Support ongoing efforts in digital transformation, using tools like SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, AI Agents, etc. (20%).
Qualifications
• Interns must be 21 by the start of the internship in June 2026.
• Interns must be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university and are preferably a rising senior or enrolled in a graduate program
• Ability to perform tasks independently and efficiently, paying close attention to detail and procedures
• Strong problem-solving & communication skills, working with others for input, clearly documenting work and results
• Self-starter, flexible, comfortable working in unstructured fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly
• Team player with collaborative style and good listening skills. Culturally sensitive and proven ability to understand, and work well with others
• Other key skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Power Suite (BI, Automate, Apps), high analytical skills
• Must be authorized to work in the US
