Are you a Senior Quality Engineering Manager expert? As the Senior Quality Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of establishing our new quality organization under the guidance of the Head of Quality. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our quality strategy, developing robust processes, and providing expert leadership to your direct reports. Your team of individual contributors will be seamlessly integrated into engineering squads, ensuring a holistic approach to quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle.

Through this role, you’ll lead and mentor your team, going beyond compliance to actively foster and instill quality as a core value within our organization. Your ability to assess the current state, envision a future centered around quality, and lead the team in cultivating a culture that prioritizes quality sets the stage for our organizational success.
What you’ll do:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Head of Quality to define and execute the quality organization's vision, strategy, and goals.
- Lead the development of a culture of quality across the organization, emphasizing continuous improvement and proactive quality assurance practices.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance quality methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Work closely with the Head of Quality to build the quality organization from the ground up, contributing to hiring, onboarding, and team development.
Drive the establishment of standardized quality processes, guidelines, and best practices that align with industry standards.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and other relevant teams to integrate quality practices seamlessly into the product development process.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure quality objectives are aligned with overall business goals.
Team Support and Development:
- Manage a team of individual contributors, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional growth opportunities.
- Empower your direct reports to excel in their roles by fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability.
Partner with Engineering Managers to ensure your directs are appropriately skilled and supported for their assigned tasks.
Quality Strategy Implementation:
- Lead your team to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring rigorous quality standards are met across the product portfolio.
- Drive the adoption of automated testing practices, tools, and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven track record (10+ years) of hands-on experience in quality assurance, software testing, and test automation.
- Substantial experience (5+ years) in a leadership or management role within a quality assurance or quality engineering team.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives and managing stakeholders
- Track-record for attracting, organizing and developing high performing, diverse teams
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, test automation, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving alignment towards quality objectives.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable quality strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire others at all levels of the organization.

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
