Description
About Us
Appdome is a fast-growing SaaS company specializing in innovative security, defense, anti-fraud, and anti-bot solutions for mobile applications. We provide enterprise customers with cutting-edge AI-driven technology with a no-code solution and platform for building, releasing, monitoring, and managing Appdome-protected mobile applications. We are seeking a Deal Desk & Commercial Operations Manager to partner closely with our Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to take our deal desk to the next level of effectiveness and efficiency. You will manage, implement, and improve processes for our deal and procurement cycles that support continued growth, model continuous improvement, and adapt to increasingly rigorous compliance environments.
This role is hybrid for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area. Appdome is in Redwood City, CA.
About the Role
The Deal Operations Manager will play a critical role at the intersection of Sales, Commercial, Legal, and Finance covering traditional deal desk responsibilities -- quote production, delivery, and management -- while owning cross-functional processes critical to deal closure and completion and continuing to build our deal desk database and reporting capabilities.
We are looking for a seasoned problem solver with experience in fast-paced SAAS sales, contract, deal management, and third-party risk management processes. This individual contributor will develop and implement efficient, compliant, and scalable commercial operations and identify and implement sales and contract automation tools.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building structure out of ambiguity, and brings exceptional organizational skills and a strong bias
toward operational excellence, cross-functional partnership, and data-driven decision making. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Intake, prepare, issue, revise, and manage sales quotes and expansions, and the quoting process end-to-end.
- Maintain and improve quote workflows, managing the quoting process end-to-end and ensuring alignment with legal and commercial requirements.
- Lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of CPQ quote automation software and CRM systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on CPQ quote automation software and CRM systems to support sales and commercial legal processes.
- Partner with Legal to ensure standardization of contract terms relevant to the quoting and sales process.
- Implement configurations and process changes related to pricing, discounting, contract terms, and approvals.
- Manage efficient and successful completion of customer-side procurement, onboarding, third-party risk management, and audit processes, collaborating effectively with necessary stakeholders and contributors.
- Manage, maintain, and improve processes for deal desk, commercial, and legal data tracking and reporting, including preparation of monthly/quarterly reports and other materials.
- Drive efficient and effective quoting by training sales reps on tools, processes, and best practices.
