What it means to be an Advertiser Sales Manager:

We get it, you want to know what you’re signing up for before you apply, right? This is what you need to know. As an Advertiser Sales Manager at Paved, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support the team by sourcing, pitching and closing deals with advertisers

  • Manage client relationships by understanding their needs and aligning them with our platform’s offerings

  • Assist clients in optimizing their sponsorship opportunities on our platform to achieve their marketing goals

  • Develop and maintain relationships with media agencies, creative agencies and direct clients

  • Assist in creating and implementing prospecting and outbound strategies to grow our advertiser base

  • Track and manage sales activities using HubSpot and other relevant tools, ensuring accurate records and follow up

  • Prepare reports and presentations to update internal stakeholders on campaign performance and client feedback

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities

  • Represent Paved at industry events, entertaining clients, and serving as a brand ambassador

  • After 1 week

    • You’ve joined demo calls, and shadow campaigns

    • You understand publisher and advertiser perspectives

    • You’re learning onboarding flows and pain points

  • After 1 month

    • Gained a full understanding of the Paved platform

    • Learned the publisher and advertiser journey

    • Mastered internal tools and workflows

    • Have become well-versed in the Sales Handbook

  • After 6 months

    • You’re actively sustaining revenue activity

    • Improving client retention

    • Optimizing workflows and tools

What we would like to see in you

Every Redbricker has three things in common: We’re curious, passionate, and good-humoured. We try our best to balance hard work with good, old-fashioned fun. As an Advertiser Sales Manager at Paved, there are extra specialties we’re on the lookout for:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in ad sales, media sales, media planning, buying or a related field

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Asana and Slack

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

  • A passion for the media space, especially digital and newsletter sponsorships

Bonus

  • Experience working on ad tech, marketplace platforms, or newsletter tooling
