Job Summary
Alto is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to work in both Patient Care (75%) and our Fulfillment Operations (25%) to provide an outstanding patient experience from on-boarding through delivery. We want an individual who is passionate about improving patient health outcomes by changing the traditional pharmacy model for the better, and making access to medications simple and seamless through quality service. We are looking for a team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, adept at prioritizing, reliable, and has exceptional communication skills.

Job Description

Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment through meticulous quality control, order consolidation, and precise labeling/packaging, while effectively routing third-party couriers for timely patient deliveries.
Perform detailed quality checks on prescription orders, manage inventory and medication availability, and coordinate courier deliveries to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
Assist with inventory management duties such as placing orders with vendors and confirming receipt, removing outdated drugs, and ensuring medication availability by maintaining/stocking automated dispensing machines.
Collaborate with various teams to enhance internal systems and processes, leveraging pharmacy expertise to contribute to a company revolutionizing the pharmacy experience, and cross-train to accommodate business needs.
Comply with all Board of Pharmacy regulations and other federal/ state/ local agencies.
A Bit About You
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure: A current CPhT pharmacy technician license or a pharmacy technician in training license, in good standing, in the applicable state.

Onsite Requirement: Must be able to commute to and work at the pharmacy location during scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of working as a pharmacy technician.
Experience working in retail, hospital, outpatient pharmacy, or other fulfillment pharmacy settings.

Additional Physical Job Requirements:
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, frequently move around the pharmacy away from the computer terminal, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
