Job Description:

Airbus Commercial is looking for a Program Manager (A220) to join our team in Herndon, Va

As the A220 Program Manager, you are the driving force behind the program's support and commercial success at Satair. You will architect and spearhead critical end-to-end improvements, from innovating processes to shaping policies and to ensuring the right level of communication is directed towards our customers. This is a high-impact role where you'll orchestrate a diverse network of stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. As the A220 Profit & Loss for all A220 business lines, you and the team are key responsible for the program's triumph and our customers' satisfaction.

Your Challenges:

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership (40%)

  • Lead cross-functional projects to mature and improve the A220 Spares business, support, and overall customer satisfaction.

  • Identify process gaps, initiate value stream mapping (VSM) workshops, and drive initiatives to prepare the business for future fleet development.

  • Establish relevant business cases and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with the whole organization.

  • Ability to manage all initiatives and projects in designated Airbus Project Management frameworks and tools

Commercial Management & Business Analysis (30%)

  • Hold net margin accountability for A220 products, including negotiating new pricing policies and forecasting budget needs with Airbus Canada and Satair.

  • Perform strategic analysis of the business to identify and act on levers that substantiate and increase the financial plan and maximize profitability.

  • Develop, analyze, and present data-driven solutions and reports on sales results, market share, pricing efficiency, forecasting, and inventory.

  • Establish commercial offers, determine pricing conditions, and provide direct support for aircraft sales campaigns as needed.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations (25%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of customer organizations to ensure their needs are understood and met.

  • Work closely with Sales and Support Directors to build customer confidence in Airbus's commitment to the A220 program.

  • Provide clear visibility to internal and external stakeholders on project roadmaps, progress, and expected improvements.

  • Ad-hoc support of the Program Team

Your Boarding Pass

  • A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or product management in sales/customer service (preferably in the aviation industry)

  • 20 % Domestic and International travel

  • Able to travel occasionally on short notice

  • Eligible for employment in the US

  • Strong understanding of the commercial aviation aftermarket supply chain.

  • Proven versatility to operate as both a strategic Program Manager and a hands-on Project Manager capable of handling a wide variety of assignments.

  • Demonstrable success in projecting and negotiating financial targets (AOP).

  • Advanced analytical skills with an ability to see the "big picture" and perform detailed data analytics.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
