How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The industrialization manager ensures that the technical or technological solutions are implemented in a structured, optimized and controlled manner throughout the entire project execution, which is transverse to all the disciplines and through his/her participation and contribution. He/she acts as the validator specialist and maybe the contributor in the project execution. He/she continuously promotes/drives the effectiveness in the daily work processes.
Scope of the industrialization manager in proposal & project execution:
● Works closely with the ODA to address, lead any technical risk discussion and validate the balance of plant concept for the projects
● Works with the process/P&IDs engineering specialist(s) in the technical solution to provide guidance
● Participates and/or provide feedbacks in the key technical design reviews

Process basis of design
PFD/P&ID review
● Proposes actions with the project team and relevant disciplines either through design review participation or cold eye reviews
● Leads effort linked to the capitalization from technology department and works closely with others (i.e. engineering and project teams)
● Share actions and results for project and follow through the completion
● Contribute the capitalization ideas through local or global initiatives and/or standard development efforts
● Capitalize and shares the results with the Product Lines teams for the integration in future projects
● Organize, lead and facilitate the local E&C technical committee meetings
● Update and/or work with specialists for the standard improvement for capitalization
● Guides younger engineers within the team as the mentor and/or the technical leader if applicable
● Support any FOIK report activities whenever applicable

Expected Competencies and requirement
Education: B.S. Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering is required
At least 5 years (10 years preferred) of engineering design experience including some cryogenic experience
Knowledge of the process, engineering design development, P&IDs design and engineering execution (preferably in cryogenic industrial gas plants)
Knowledge of various vendor equipment used in cryogenic and/or industrial gas plant processes
Very good initiative, proactive and strong customer-centric mindset
Qualification: EIT or Professional Engineer (preferred)
Mobility: Up to 20% travel and/or short term international and/or site assignments
Proactive to support and contribute to Air Liquide's initiatives
